An Evening of Celebration, Enrichment, and a Little Something Different
Around the holidays, Envision IT hosted an enriching time for Envisioners and friends of Envision in Madison with special guest and speaker, David Rendall. Guests had the opportunity to come early and learn how Citrix enables the secure digital workspace of the future, led by Envision IT CTO, Bill Crahen. A social hour followed Bill’s presentation for guests to engage with friends and make new acquaintances. David was next to share how being unique can be the best strategy for happiness.
Previously, David spent his career as a leadership professor, stand-up comedian, and nonprofit executive. He is a husband, father, triathlete and now an inspirational speaker. David filled guests of all ages with laughter through his enriching, lighthearted, comedic messages from his book The Freak Factor: Discovering Un!queness by Flaunting Weakness. Growing up, authority figures in our lives have told us, we need to find our weakness and fix them. David says the opposite; every weakness is also a strength and rather than shutting out that weakness and fixing it, we should amplify it!
