OU Layout Recommendation
In UniconOS Management , device configuration and application definitions flow down from the Base through each OU to the device. When you turn off “Use parent device configuration,” that OU gets its own independent configuration. After that, changes to the parent no longer reach it, so every OU where you break inheritance is another config you have to keep up to date by hand.
Device Rules can often keep inheritence intact so settings from the Base flow down the OU structure.
