Envision IT is a group of curious and compassionate people growing a soulful company. They’ve been globally recognized in both the technology industry and conscious business community.

What does it take to earn 100% employee engagement and happy customers? The answer is 20 years of putting purpose before profit. While Envision Information Technologies has worked hard to navigate the quickly changing technology landscape, it has also been driven to build a company that strives for more than profits. Envision’s Conscious Capitalism principles guide its responsible business practices so that the company can work toward a greater good in the business community. This common goal is shared by the entire company and has fostered a creative environment of engaged employees and delighted customers.

HOW HAS YOUR COMPANY EVOLVED SINCE ITS INCEPTION?
Since its inception, Envision has been a purpose-driven company. Founder Beau Smithback was a young entrepreneur who delivered solid outcomes for clients. Organically, profits accompanied his good works. In 2013, Smithback expanded the leadership team with experienced industry executives passionate about conscious business. Together they articulated Envision’s higher purpose — enriching the lives of their stakeholders — and grew the business serving it. In recent years, Envision has been recognized globally for innovation, project delivery, and customer satisfaction. It’s also been recognized as a leader in the Conscious Capitalism movement inspiring other businesses to combine purpose and profit to elevate humanity.

HOW HAS YOUR INDUSTRY CHANGED?
Technology is almost synonymous with change and in the 20 years Envision has been in business, nearly every aspect of the industry has changed.  When Envision began, many businesses were just starting to use the    internet and email. Today, technology is not only pervasive in our personal and business lives, the importance of technology has increased dramatically. Along with this growth, cybersecurity threats are also increasing. The result is an entire industry balancing reliance on technology against the increased safety risks.

WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU HAD TO OVERCOME OVER THE YEARS?
Envision is self-funded and will remain a privately held company. Rather than seeking venture capital to fund growth, Envision reinvests profits to enrich the lives of stakeholders and fund strategic initiatives. Serving a higher purpose makes things clearer, not easier. The pace of change in the technology industry requires constant evaluation, continual training, and consistent evolution to deliver the best possible service to clients. For example, all businesses are threatened by increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity tactics. Envision invests heavily to minimize risk for clients and stay ahead of anything that could disrupt business.

WHAT DO YOU ATTRIBUTE FOR YOUR COMPANY’S SUCCESS AND LONGEVITY?
Envision’s success is attributed to their long-term focus and commitment to “walking the talk” of a conscious business. Envision has exemplified that people who are cared for in turn care for others, and that’s a winning combination. Envision’s business for good has resulted in good business. Envision has achieved 100% employee engagement, 99.7% “awesome” customer satisfaction, and healthy growth. Envision’s top-to-bottom conscious business is lauded in the book, Rehumanizing the Workplace.

WHAT DO YOU SEE AS FUTURE GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
Businesses are evolving in the technology-enabled world. Envision will continue to cultivate fulfilling careers and support an enriched “whole” life for the Envision family. As the technology landscape changes, Envision will consistently ensure that technology enables employee engagement for our clients rather than be an obstacle. Engaged employees effectively contribute to meaningful and successful businesses and thriving communities. Together we’re consciously building a better world.
